GP Partners

The Practice has 6 GP Partners:

Dr Selina Fox, Dr David Crichton, Dr Rachel Hubbard, Dr Karen Forshaw, Dr Dan Clark and Dr Stuart McHardy.

Dr Eleanor Wells  and Dr Nabeel Alsindi also work at the Practice

 

Practice Manager

Our Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Practice and she co-ordinates the work within the surgery.  She will be able to help you with any non-medical aspects of your treatment and is always available to discuss any complaints or suggestions, which may improve our service to you.

Assistant Practice Managers

The Assistant Practice Managers works alongside the Practice Manager and is also available to discuss suggestions, complaints and any non-medical aspects of your treatment.

Practice Nurses

We have 4 Practice Nurses and they are available by appointment every day.  They can help you with immunisations, cervical smears, contraception and general advice.

Practice Pharmacist

We have a Practice Pharmacist who deals with prescription queries and medication reviews.

 

Health Care Assistants

There are 3 Health Care Assistants in the Practice who run daily morning clinics.  They undertake blood tests, blood pressure, ECG’s, new patient medicals and more.

Receptionists/Appointments Clerk

The Practice has 6 reception staff who are here to help you.  Their responsibilities include arranging appointments, taking and relaying messages, arranging repeat prescriptions and accepting requests for home visits. 

Practice Secretaries

All referrals to hospitals and recall to clinics are generated by these members of staff.  They carry out audits and assist members of the Practice team. They also input and update our computerised patient records.

Health Visitors

Our Health Visitors  can be contacted by patients of any age for advice on any health related problems.  Telephone 01302 875979.

Urgent requests for help and advice will be dealt with within 24 hours.  Non-urgent requests for a visit will be completed within a week.  Routine visits will be completed within 4 weeks.  You will be seen within 2 hours of your appointment time.

School Nurse

If you have any worries about your childs health whilst attending school, please contact  the School Nurses at Bentley Health Centre on 875979 in school term time.

 

GP Registrars

Bentley Surgery is a training Practice and has fully qualified Doctors who are completing their training to become General Practitioners.  A GP Registrar usually spends 6 or 12 months at the Practice.
